Access to Transperth facilities

Transperth bus stations and bus/train interchanges may only be used by vehicles authorised by the Public Transport Authority (PTA).  Typically, this authorisation applies to vehicles used in the provision of Transperth bus services only.

The PTA has sole discretion to approve access, subject to the satisfaction of certain legal and operational requirements.   To obtain authorisation, you will be required to enter into a non-exclusive License Agreement with the PTA.  The License Agreement will require payment of a fee, which will be determined by the PTA with reference to the commercial nature of the services provided.

You must also supply a service timetable clearly showing your proposed arrival and departure times.  Transperth will determine if capacity exists at the requested facility to accommodate your services at these times.  In requesting access, you understand that if there is no capacity at the indicated time, you may be required to either reschedule your services, or access permission will be declined.  Unscheduled access cannot be granted due to potential impact to Transperth services.

To demonstrate that you have the means of meeting the indemnity requirements of the Licence Agreement, copies of certificates of currency of Public Liability and Motor Vehicle insurances must be included.
