System reliability statistics

Transperth is committed to providing a reliable public transport system in Perth. State of the art technology is used to accurately measure the on-time running of individual services and these are monitored to ensure our high standards are maintained.

Transperth records on-time running to a benchmark in line with international and Australian best practice. For trains, services must not be any later than four minutes from their timetabled arrival time at their end destination. For bus services, no service must leave a timetabled timing point early, nor must they be more than four minutes later than the timetabled departure time at any given timing point along their route.
