About Wellard Station
| |
Wellard Station is located within the Wellard Village development, south of Wellard Rd and east of the existing Leda area.
The station is a key component of the precinct's transit oriented development. Transit Oriented Developments (TODs) seek to maximise access to public transport with centrally-located rail and/or bus stations surrounded by relatively high-density commercial and residential development.
TODs mix residential, retail, office, open space and public uses in a walkable environment, making it convenient for residents and employees to travel by public transport, bicycle, foot or car.
