East Perth Station – Platform Changes

From Sunday 20 August, the platform at East Perth Station will change as a result of the East Perth Station Upgrade. If you have mobility issues these changes will affect you.

Due to the upgrade, trains at East Perth Station will stop on the new platform at the northern end of the station (towards Midland), not at the existing platform. Please follow signage for access to the new platform. Also be aware arriving trains may not be visible to passengers from the existing platform area.

Additionally, as the train arrives at East Perth Station, it will sit lower than the platform, and passengers entering the train will need to step down. The best position to board the train will be from the scaffolding platform at the northern end. Passengers exiting the train will need to step up onto the platform.
