Governor Stirling Senior High School - School Special changes

Effective: Monday 19 October 2009

From Monday 19 October 2009, School Specials servicing Governor Stirling Senior High School will undergo changes.

Morning Services

School Special 752 (Middle Swan/Herne Hill Areas)

School Special 752 travelling between Middle Swan, Herne Hill and Governor Stirling Senior High School via Swan Christian College and LaSalle College will be withdrawn due to low patronage.

Students residing in Herne Hill will need to board an alternate School Special (also known as School Special 752) travelling between the Vines, Upper Swan and Governor Stirling Senior High School.

Alternate School Special 752 will operate the following route:

School Special 752 departs from bus stop 22395 (Ellenbrook Dr after Vines Ave) at 7.20am, via Ellenbrook Dr, left Hermitage Dr, right Campagne Tce/Roxburghe Dr/Vines Ave, left Chardonnay Dr, right Hermitage Dr, left Vines Ave/Chateau Pl, left Millhouse Rd, left West Swan Rd, left Gt Northern Hwy, left Railway Cr, right Apple St, right Gt Northern Hwy, left McDonald St, right Railway Cr, right Argyle St, left Gt Northern Hwy, right into Swan Christian College, right Gt Northern Hwy, right Muriel St, left Frederic St, right Flora St, right Elvire St, right Muriel St, set down at La Salle College, right Frederic St, left Margaret St, right Gt Northern Hwy, right Morrison Rd, right Gt Eastern Hwy, right Third Ave to arrive at Governor Stirling Senior High School at approximately 8.22am.

Students can board School Special 752 from one of the following bus stops:

  • 15403 (Argyle St)
  • 15407 (McDonald St)
  • 15408 (Railway Cres).

Students currently boarding from Lefroy St near Argyle St will need to board alternate School Special 752 from Argyle St (West of the railway line) via the railway crossing point near Herne Hill Primary School.

School Special 752 (Midland Station to Governor Stirling Senior High School)

School Special 752 departing from Midland Station at 8.21am to arrive at Governor Stirling Senior High School at 8.26am will be renumbered to display School Special 751.

This renumbering will not affect any departure/arrival times, stand allocations or any changes to the route. The only change that will occur is the bus number. 

Afternoon Services

School Special 1

School Special 1 travelling to the Vines and Upper Swan will undergo a minor route change and renumbered to display School Special 753.

School Special 4

School Special 4 servicing students in Herne Hill will be withdrawn due to low patronage. Students travelling to Herne Hill will need to board School Special 753.

School Special 753 will operate the following route:

Depart Governor Stirling Senior High School at 3.15pm via Third Ave, right Ford St, left Harper St, right Byers Rd, left Morrison Rd, left Frederic St, right Muriel St, to arrive at La Salle College, continue via Muriel St, left Gt Northern Hwy, right Spring Ave, left Lloyd St, left Toodyay Rd to pick up from St Brigids College, via Toodyay Rd, right Gt Northern Hwy, left into Swan Christian College at 3.32pm, left Gt Northern Hwy, right Oakover Rd, left Gugeri Rd, left Lennard St, right Lefroy Ave, left Lennard St, right Railway Cres, left Haddrill Rd, right Gt Northern Hwy, left West Swan Rd, right Millhouse Rd, right Chateau Pl, right Ellenbrook Dr, left Hermitage Dr, right Champagne Tce/Roxburghe Dr/Vines Ave, left Chardonnay Dr, right Hermitage Dr, left Vines Ave/Chateau Pl, left Millhouse Rd, to terminate at bus stop 22722 (Millhouse Rd after Cruse Rd) at 4.20pm.

School special 753 will no longer operate along Middle Swan Rd or West Swan Rd. Students will need to board Route 311 departing Governor Stirling Senior High School at 3.15pm to Midland Station, then transfer to Route 335 departing Midland Station at 3.30pm.
