Northern Suburbs bus feeders to get bigger shoulders

Effective: Sunday 24 August 2008

The plan to increase the number of feeder bus services operating during the evening peak on the Joondalup Line will begin from Sunday 24 August 2008. The increase in services will be phased in, starting with services from Warwick and Whitfords.

The move to increase services is intended to ease evening peak congestion on the Joondalup Line. The plan, when fully implemented, will see a bus operating every 20 minutes, or more frequently on all key feeder bus routes between 6pm and 7.20pm, giving commuters leaving the city additional connecting buses to complete their journey.

Additional services will operate from Warwick and Whitfords along the following routes in the evening peak period:

Routes 352, 441, 442, 443, 444, 445, 446, 447, 449, 460, 461, 462, 463, 464, 465, 466, 467, 468 & 469.

New timetables are currently in print and will be available shortly. For further service updates, passengers are encouraged to sign up to TravelEasy to be notified in advance of the availablility of timetables and changes to services.
