Routes 558, 587, 588, 589, 590, 591, 592, 594, 597 & 598 - service changes

From Sunday 1 February 2009, bus routes in the Mandurah area will undergo route and timetable changes.

The following routes will undergo time changes to ensure adequate transfer times with bus and train services:

Route 587

The completion of the road network in Southern Lakelands will enable Transperth to operate route 587 closer to its long term alignment providing access to a larger number of passengers east of Mandurah Rd.

Route 587 will operate as follows:

Lakelands to Mandurah Station: Depart from bus stop 23858 (Yindana Bvd before Payanna Gr), via Yindana Bvd, via Kirkland Wy, right Pebble Beach Bvd, right Broadstone Vsta, left Mandurah Rd, left Meadow Springs Dr, right Camden Wy, right Portrush Pde, right Oakmont Ave, left Seminole Ave, left Gordon Rd, right Greyhound Track Access Rd/Exchequer Ave, left Peel Campus Ring Rd, left into Mandurah Senior College Bus Bay, left Exchequer Ave, right Bortolo Dr, right Murdoch Dr/Allnutt St, right to terminate at  Mandurah Station.

Mandurah Station to Lakelands: Depart from Mandurah Station, left Allnutt St/Murdoch Dr, left Bortolo Dr, left Exchequer Ave, right Peel Campus Ring Rd, right into Mandurah Senior College Bus Bay, right Exchequer Ave/Greyhound Track Access Rd, left Gordon Rd, right Seminole Ave, right Oakmont Ave, left Portrush Pde, left Camden Wy, left Meadow Springs Dr, right Mandurah Rd, right Broadstone Vsta, left Pebble Beach Bvd, left Kirkland Wy, via Yindana Bvd, u-turn at Lake Valley Dr roundabout, to terminate at bus stop 23858 (Yindana Bvd before Payanna Gr).

Route 592

Services will undergo a route change due to the completion of the road network in Seascapes Estate, Halls Head. This change will allow Transperth to operate route 592 on its long term alignment providing access to a larger number of passengers west of Old Coast Rd.

Route 592 will operate as follows:

Dawesville Rd West to Mandurah Station: Depart from bus stop 21810 (Dawesville Rd West after Westbury Wy), via Dawesville Rd West, u-turn at roundabout at Sutherland St, via Dawesville Rd West, right Dawesville Rd West, left Dawesville Bypass/Old Coast Rd, left Northport Bvd, right Baloo Cr, right Yeedong Rd, left Thera St, right Corfu St/Galatea Rd, left Rotohine St, right Leander St, right Philante St, left Eldora St, right Vanessa Rd, left Merlin St/Peelwood Pde, left Glencoe Pde, right Hungerford Ave, right McLarty Rd, left Old Coast Rd/Pinjarra Rd, right Leslie St, left Comet St, right Gillark St, left Dadger St/Anstruther Rd, right Pinjarra Rd, left Dower St, right Allnutt St, left to Mandurah Station.

From Mandurah Station to Dawesville Rd West: Depart right Allnutt St, left Dower St, right Pinjarra Rd, left Anstruther Rd/Dadger St, right Gillark St, left Comet St, right Leslie St, left Pinjarra Rd, left Old Coast Rd, right McLarty Rd, left Hungerford Ave, left Glencoe Pde, right Peelwood Pde/Merlin St, right Vanessa Rd, left Eldora Cr, right Philante St, left Leander St, left Rotohine St, right Galatea Rd/Corfu Rd, left Thera St, right Yeedong Rd, left Baloo Cr, left Northport Bvd, right Old Coast Rd/Dawesville Bypass, right Dawesville Rd West, left Dawesville Rd West to bus stop 21810 (Dawesville Rd West after Westbury Wy).

Students

Primary and Secondary school students in the Mandurah area are reminded that a number of school services serving Mandurah area schools have changed for 2009. School students will also be impacted by the changes to public routes outlined above. Students can ask their school to find out if their school service is affected.
