Fremantle Line - service disruption

Effective: From 8.00pm on Friday 12 June until first service on Monday 15 June 2009 

Transperth train services between Fremantle and Daglish will be cancelled from 8.00pm on Friday 12 June until first service on Monday 15 June 2009 due to platform upgrade works at Showgrounds Station.

There will be no train services between Fremantle and Daglish during this period.

The last full Fremantle Line services to operate will be:

  • to Fremantle departing Perth at 7.00pm
  • to Perth departing Fremantle at 7.31pm.

Train replacement bus service 906 will pick up passengers between Fremantle and Daglish at the train replacement stops near train stations while services are cancelled.

Normal Fremantle Line services will resume with the start of timetabled services on Monday 15 June 2009.

Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that train replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.

Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including train replacement services.
