UPDATE: Fremantle Line service disruption

Effective: 31 May 2007

Due to a motor vehicle accident in Claremont, train services between Showgrounds and Fremantle have been suspended to facilitate repairs to a damaged mast which carries the overhead electrical wires.

The last through train services this morning will be:

• The last train from Perth to Fremantle will depart at 9.15am
• The last train from Fremantle to Perth will depart at 9.42am.

During the closure, trains will operate between Perth and Showgrounds stations and Train Replacement bus service 906 will operate between Showgrounds and Fremantle.

Normal train services will resume as follows:

• The first train from Perth to Fremantle will depart at 2.00pm
• The first train from Fremantle to Perth will depart at 2.42pm.

The evening repair works have been cancelled. Fremantle train services will operate as normal.
