Update: Warnbro Station - Car park disruption

Updated: Monday 31 December 2012
From Monday 14 January 2013 the bus stands will be temporarily relocated to facilitate upgrade works to the interchange area at the front of the station. The number of car park bays will continue to be temporarily reduced.

A map of the temporary bus stands can be viewed here.

Additional parking is open at  Rockingham Station, about 5km to the north.

The upgrade works will reduce available parking at Warnbro by about 200 bays on weekdays for 9-12 months.  On weekends and public holidays 400 bays will be made available.

The improvement work includes:
  • Additional passenger bus stands
  • Continuous canopy cover to all passenger bus stands
  • New roundabout for control of vehicle movements
  • Covered, accessible set-down bay
  • Additional motorcycle bays

The work will be staged so that roadways and drop-off lanes can be maintained.

For further information about the works email projects@pta.wa.gov.au

These works will enhance the bus interchange facility as capacity for additional parking is restricted due to the availability of surrounding land.

For alternatives to parking at the station, please use the Journey Planner to plan your journey or phone 13 62 13 for bus timetable information.
