UPDATE: Armadale and Thornlie lines – service disruption
Effective: Monday 9 February to Thursday 26 February 2009
The scheduled service disruption of the Armadale and Thornlie lines between Monday 9 and Thursday 26 February will finish earlier than scheduled. Armadale and Thornlie Line services will no longer be cancelled on the evenings of Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 February. Services will return to normal from first service on Wednesday 25 February.
Transperth train services on the Armadale and Thornlie lines will still be cancelled on the evenings of Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 February due to track upgrade works.
Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 February
The last full Armadale Line trains will be:
- to Armadale departing Perth at 6.47pm
- to Perth departing Armadale at 7.26pm.
The last full Thornlie Line trains will be:
- to Thornlie departing Perth at 7.05pm
- to Perth departing Thornlie at 7.34pm.
Train replacement bus service 907 will pick up passengers between Armadale and Perth at the train replacement stops near train stations while services are cancelled. A shuttle will also operate between Cannington and Thornlie.
Armadale and Thornlie line services will resume with the start of timetabled services each morning.
Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that train replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.
Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including train replacement services.
