Enabling your iPod® for disk use
- Connect your iPod® to your computer
- Open iTunes®
- Select your iPod® device as the source
- Click on the 'Summary' tab
- Select 'Enable disk use' or 'Manually manage songs and playlists'. Either will allow you to use your iPod® as a disk drive. If you select 'Manually manage songs and playlists', iTunes® will not automatically update your iPod® with the iTunes® library. If you want iTunes® to automatically update your iPod®, select 'Enable disk use' instead.

Important notes:
- iPod® impose limits of 4kb per note file and 1000 note files. You must have your iPod® configured for use as an external hard disk
- Your iPod® will cache all the timetables you have loaded when you select Transperth in the Notes menu. This will take a few minutes to load onto your iPod® the first time you select the Notes menu. Once it has cached the timetables, the timetable list will load instantly. If you add additional timetables at a later stage, it will re-cache all the timetable files
- Transperth is not responsible for the performance, content and features provided by outside third party applications.
System requirements
