Christmas and New Year services 2011

Travel with ease this festive season and take Transperth. See below for details of services operating throughout the Christmas and New Year period.

Christmas Day - Sunday 25 December 2011

Train services

All services will operate approximately every 30 minutes from the first scheduled service on the Sunday/Public Holiday timetable, except for Thornlie Line services, which will operate every hour, Armadale Line services will stop all stations throughout the day.

Passengers are asked to be aware that some bus connections may be affected.
Bus services

Bus services will operate on a Sunday/Public Holiday timetable. No CAT services will operate.

Ferry services

Ferries will operate on a Sunday/Public Holiday timetable.

Boxing Day - Monday 26 December 2011

Train services

Joondalup and Mandurah lines: From first service Monday 26 December until 12.00 noon Saturday 31 December Perth Underground Station will be closed to facilitate Perth City Link works. These works will result in Joondalup and Mandurah lines operating on altered timetables. Click here for more information.

All other train lines will operate on a Sunday/Public Holiday timetable.

Passengers are asked to be aware that some bus connections may be affected.

Bus services

Transperth bus services, including Perth CATs, will operate on a Sunday/Public Holiday timetable. Fremantle and Joondalup CAT services will not operate.

Ferry services

Ferries will operate on a Sunday/Public Holiday timetable.

New Year's Eve - Saturday 31 December 2011

Transperth services will operate a Saturday timetabled service with additional services. Joondalup and Mandurah lines will operate on an altered timetable.

Transperth train services will operate as follows:

Armadale Line

To Armadale: Services will operate every 30 minutes until midnight, every 20 minutes until 1.40am, 2.15am, 3.00am then hourly until 6.00am.
To Perth: Services will operate every 30 minutes until 12.46am, 1.09am, 1.29am, 1.46am, 2.59am, 3.45am and 4.45am.

Thornlie Line

To Thornlie: Services will operate every 30 minutes until 11.51pm, then every 20 minutes until 1.50am

To Perth: Services will operate every 30 minutes until 12.19am, then every 20 minutes until 2.19am.

Fremantle Line

To Fremantle: Service will operate every 15 minutes until 2.00am, 3.00am then hourly until 5.00am

To Perth: Service will operate every 15 minutes until 3.00am, 3.33am then hourly until 5.33am.

Joondalup Line

To Joondalup: Service will operate every 30 minutes until 11.45pm then every 15 minutes until 2.30am, 3.00am then hourly until 6.00am

To Perth: Service will operate every 30 minutes until 11.08pm then every 15 minutes until 1.08am, 1.18am, 1.38am, 2.23am, 2.53am, 3.23am and 4.23am.

Mandurah Line

To Mandurah: Service will operate every 30 minutes until 11.45pm then every 15 minutes until 2.30am, 3.00am then hourly until 5.00am

To Perth: Service will operate every 30 minutes until 10.50pm, 11.03pm, 11.20pm, 11.33pm, 11.48pm, 12.03am, 12.20am, 12.33am, 12.48am, 1.00am, 1.18am, 1.33am, 2.03am, 3.03am and 4.03am.

Midland Line

To Midland: Services will operate every 30 minutes until 11.30pm, then every 15 minutes until 2.15am, 3.00am, 4.03am and 5.03am.

To Perth: Services will operate every 30 minutes until midnight, every 15 minutes until 2.45am, 3.30am, 4.33am and 5.33am.

2011 – 2012 N.Y.E.- Transperth Bus Services

Normal Saturday timetabled services will operate on New Year's Eve with additional trips on some services before and after midnight.
