What’s New

Communicating with passengers is important to Transperth. That’s why we’re always looking for new ways to deliver information in a way that people wish to receive it.

Transperth has a number of initiatives that we are currently working on. Some have already been launched, and some we are in the process of trialling. We always welcome feedback. So if you have something to say about any of these initiatives, or you’ve got a great idea on how we can inform passengers about our services, then please let us know by emailing enquiries@pta.wa.gov.au.

Google Transit

Google Transit works by utilising Transperth information, so that users can easily access public transport schedules and routes, and plan trips.  This new online service complements our existing JourneyPlanner functionality. To use Google Transit go to www.google.com.au/transit

You can also access Google Transit functionality on most mobile phones using Google Maps for Mobile.  This software can be installed on most mobile phones and allows you plan your Transperth journeys on your mobile phone.  For more information go to http://www.google.com/mobile/  Please note that while Google Maps for Mobile is a free service, carrier fees may apply.
