Interstate Senior card holders concession travel
Effective: Wednesday 1 July 2009
From Wednesday 1 July 2009, interstate Seniors in possession of a valid Seniors card from their home State are able to access concession fares when travelling on Transperth bus, train and ferry services, as well as regional town services.
Some States issue temporary Seniors cards that usually have a month validity. Transperth will honour the temporary card and enable access to concession travel, ensuring it is not a photocopy and is valid.
Interstate Seniors are not entitled to the free travel entitlement in off peak periods that is offered to Western Australian Seniors, Aged and Disability Support Pensioners.
