Midland Line - service disruption 

Effective: From 8.00pm on Monday 29 June until Thursday 9 July 2009   

Transperth train services between Midland and Perth will be cancelled on the evenings of Monday 29 June until Thursday 9 July 2009 due to track upgrade works.

Train services will be disrupted as follows: 

Monday 29 June to Friday 3 July and Monday 6 July to Thursday 9 July

The last full Midland Line services to depart on the above mentioned evenings will be:

  • to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
  • to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.

Saturday 4 July

The last full Midland Line services to depart on the above mentioned evening will be:

  • to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
  • to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.

Sunday 5 July

The last full Midland Line services to depart on the above mentioned evening will be:

  • to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm 
  • to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.

Train replacement bus service 905 will shuttle passengers between Perth and Midland at the train replacement stops near train stations while services are cancelled.

Normal Midland Line services will resume with the start of timetabled services each morning.

Midland Line passengers are advised that until the end of September 2009 there will be disruptions to the Midland Line while track upgrades take place. These disruptions will primarily take place in the evenings but passengers are advised to regularly check the Transperth website or call the InfoLine on 13 62 13 to see how their journey may be affected by the disruptions.

Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that train replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.

Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including train replacement services.
