Optus Stadium

Your ticket to the Telethon Family Festival includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours either side of the event (special event buses will not be operating for the event). If asked, proudly show off your ticket to the driver or inspector. 

Keep in mind, you must have your event ticket on you to travel for no extra cost. If you’re planning on collecting your ticket at the venue, you will need to pay a normal fare to get there.

Getting to and from Optus Stadium

Transperth operates an integrated public transport plan to connect event-goers with the Perth CBD and wider metropolitan area. 

Special event buses will not be operating for the event. All passengers are encouraged to read the following information and use the JourneyPlanner to find alternative transport options.

Travel By Train


Transperth Train System Map

To get you to the event, Armadale Line trains stopping at Perth Stadium Station will depart Perth Station every 15 minutes from 7.30am, then approximately every 7 minutes from 10.30am. 

Armadale Line To: Take the Armadale Line straight to Perth Stadium Station, trains run approximately every 15 minutes from 8.15am.
  From: Take the Armadale Line from Platform 5/6 via the Eastern Concourse at Perth Stadium Station. The last train departs at 12.07am.
Thornlie Line To: Take the Thornlie Line straight to Perth Stadium Station, trains run approximately every 30 minutes from 10.05am.
  From: Take the Thornlie Line from Platform 5/6 via the Eastern Concourse at Perth Stadium Station. The last train departs at 5.42pm.

Fremantle Line

To: There will be no direct Fremantle Line services operating before the event.
Take a timetabled Fremantle Line train to Perth Station and transfer to a train to Stadium Station departing frequently from 10.30am.
 

From: There will be no direct Fremantle Line services operating after the event.
Take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Fremantle Line. The last connecting train departs Perth Stadium Station at 7.14pm.
Fremantle Line trains will be cancelled and replacement bus Route 906 will run from Perth Busport. The last train departs Perth Station at 7.30pm. 

Joondalup Line To: There will be no direct Joondalup Line services operating before the event.
Take a timetabled Joondalup Line train to Perth Underground and transfer to a train to Stadium Station departing frequently from 10.30am. 
 

From: There will be no direct Joondalup Line services operating after the event.
Take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Joondalup Line. The last connecting train departs Perth Stadium Station at 11.49pm.

Mandurah Line To: Take a timetabled Mandurah Line train to Perth Underground and transfer to a train to Stadium Station departing frequently from 10.30am. 
  From: Take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse and transfer to the Mandurah Line. The last connecting train departs Perth Stadium Station at 11.49pm. 
Midland Line To: Take a train to East Perth Station and walk over the Windan Bridge. See a map of the walking route here.
Alternatively, take a Midland Line train to Perth Station and transfer to a train to Stadium Station departing frequently from 10.30am.
  From: Walk over the Windan Bridge to East Perth Station, or take a train to Perth from the Eastern Concourse, and transfer to the Midland Line. The last connecting train departs Perth Stadium Station at 11.49pm.
Midland Line trains will depart Perth Station Platform 4 after 8.00pm, in order to facilitate maintenance works.
