Changes to SmartRider ticketing and bus stand relocation at Kelmscott Station
Services affected: Route 220, 240, 241, 243, 244, 245, 249 & Armadale Line
Effective: 21 October 2007
From Sunday 21 October 2007, Kelmscott Train Station will be permanently converted to an ‘open’ station. Passengers will now be required to tag on and tag off their services when transferring from any bus or train at Kelmscott Station.
Transferring from a bus to a train
Passengers must tag off their bus service and tag on their train service at the SmartRider processors located on station platforms.
Transferring from a train to a bus
Passengers must tag off their train service at the SmartRider processors located on station platforms and tag on when boarding their bus service.
Transferring from a bus to a bus
Passengers must tag off their bus service and tag on when transferring onto their next bus service.
In summary, a passenger must tag on and off every time they board or alight from a bus or train at Kelmscott Station.
Bus stand relocation
Bus stands 1 - 4 will be temporarily relocated to the car park area adjacent to Railway Ave.
