Simple rules for travelling on Transperth services
Transperth has developed some simple rules to remember when using our services, to ensure a pleasant journey for all passengers:
- Possess a valid ticket at all times and show it upon request
- Concession ticket passengers must carry proof of concession and supply it upon request
- Offer your seat to passengers with special needs, eg seniors, people with a disability and parents carrying small children
- Students using the 50 cent student fare must stand for adults
- Be courteous to other passengers. Offensive behaviour is not tolerated
- On buses, do not ride in the cab area or speak to the driver while the bus is moving
- When riding on a train, please move down the carriage so as not to obstruct the doorways
- Always use earphones for audio devices and keep the volume on low
- After 7.00pm you can alight anywhere along the bus route where it is safe to pull up. Advise the driver beforehand
- Please keep feet and items which may cause damage off the seats
- Smoking is prohibited on all Transperth property
- Do not eat or drink on Transperth services.
