Wed 25 Apr
Take Transperth to this year's Dawn Services.
Additional bus and train services will operate for the Kings Park and Fremantle Memorial Dawn Services. Use the information below or Transperth JourneyPlanner to plan your journey.
In recognition of the great sacrifice made by the men and women of our armed forces, all veterans, serving and returned personnel wearing service uniforms, campaign ribbons or medals can travel FREE on ANZAC Day.
Other passengers will need to purchase a ticket or use their SmartRider to travel. More information is available on Tickets and Fares.
Please note, bikes may be refused access to busy stations and trains. As always, bikes are not permitted on buses.
KINGS PARK DAWN SERVICE
As train services for the Dawn Service are expected to be very busy, we strongly encourage all passengers to plan their journey and catch the train as early as possible to avoid missing the service. We will be operating the following special event trains:
Route 620 to Kings Park will depart from Perth Busport from approximately 4.30am.
Buses to Kings Park will also be busy, so we recommend getting into the city and on a bus as early as possible.
Please note while buses are accessible, some of the locations that we'll be operating from (eg. within Kings Park) are not accessible. Please refer to the RSL website for detailed information and assistance.
All other buses will run to a standard Public Holiday timetable and some deviations will be in place due to CBD road closures. For more information please check Service Disruptions.
Route 621 will operate between the Vietnam War Memorial and the coach terminus near Wadjuk Way between 4.25am and approximately 9.30am.
