Buses
Bus services have been designed to supplement train services with 9, limited-stop routes operating along key corridors. The Red CAT operates to Matagarup Bridge via West Perth and Perth CBD during event days. Event buses will be scheduled to start arriving at the Stadium up to two hours prior to the start of the event.
Please be aware suburban special event buses will finish 45 MINUTES after the event.
When held on a weekday, services will differ and there will be no suburban event buses before the event.
Bus services will be planned according to the specific event profile. See below for an overview of Transperth buses for Optus Stadium events.
The Red CAT is temporarily operating a shorter route, terminating at Hale St due to a road closure. During Optus Stadium events, services will extend to Matagarup Bridge for approximately two hours before the event, continuing until one hour after the event, including during the event.
If you are travelling before, or after this time, you will need to catch an alternate service to Optus Stadium.
Route 650 (Karrinyup Bus Station) will now depart from Stands 18 and 19 at Perth Stadium Bus Station.
Route 651 and 660 no longer operate due to the reopening of the Armadale Line. Passengers can catch an Armadale Line train between Perth Stadium and Byford.
Route 656 will now operate from Southlands Boulevarde in Willetton. This service will undergo a route change and will no longer stop on Ranford Road, including Livingston Marketplace. Passengers travelling to the stadium from Canning Vale can catch a direct Thornlie-Cockburn line train to Stadium from Ranford Road and Nicholson Road stations.
