Nor can Transperth guarantee that messages will be delivered or responded to in real-time and without delay. These will depend on a number of factors, some of which are not in Transperth’s control. 

Information provided by Transperth via its Online Chat Services is indicative only. It is recommended that users exercise their own judgement and care when using Transperth’s Online Chat Services, and do not rely solely on Transperth’s responses, as responses in real-time may not be possible. Further, the information in those responses may not be accurate, current or complete.

Transperth reserves the right at any time and without notice to remove or vary any part of the Online Chat Services, including its features, hours of operation and functionality. Transperth also reserves the right to, in its sole discretion, terminate or restrict users’ access to Transperth’s Online Chat Services at any time, without notice.

Transperth’s Digital Information Services (and its content) and Online Chat Services are provided 'as is' and without representation, term, condition or warranty of any kind, either express or implied.

To the extent permitted by law, neither Transperth nor the State of Western Australia shall be liable to any person or entity for any injury, loss or damage which may arise from the use of any content on Transperth’s Digital Information Services, or the use of Transperth’s Online Chat Services.

In addition, Transperth will not be liable for any harm suffered as a result of the Online Chat Services being unavailable, or messages not being delivered or responded to in real-time and without delay, for any reason. These include website or computer downtime, telecommunications network or power outages, or workforce constraints (including because of the volume of messages received and the length of time required to process them).

The PTA is a corporation established under the Public Transport Authority Act WA 2003 and the Public Transport Authority Regulations WA 2003. Transperth is part of the State Government's Public Transport Authority (PTA) and any reference to Transperth means PTA trading as Transperth.
