Got a big event coming up?

Transperth is the easy, simple way to attend many sporting fixtures, concerts and other events. Check the information below before planning your journey.

The Script concert

If you're going to see The Script in concert , you can avoid the traffic just like the Good Ol' Days by taking Transperth instead. The walk from the station is so short that it won't matter if there is Hail Rain or Sunshine. Pus, it will cost you Nothing extra because public transport is included in your ticket.

West Coast v Fremantle

Being civil to opposition fans during Derby week. Pretty tricky. Almost as tricky as finding a park at the footy. Keep things simple and use the Transperth travel that's included in your ticket for the derby on Sunday 19 April. Bounce down 2.40pm.

ANZAC Day 2015

To commemorate the ANZAC Centenary, and in recognition of the great sacrifice made by the men and women of our armed forces, the WA State Government has made all Transperth services free on ANZAC Day.

The ANZAC Day Dawn Service will be held at Kings Park and Botanic Gardens on Saturday 25 April. The Dawn Service is expected to attract large crowds and due to the significant road closures and parking restrictions around Kings Park, the best way to get there is to catch the train.

There will be plenty of additional services on each line with trains arriving in the city from approximately 3.20am. Shuttle buses to Kings Park will operate from Esplanade Busport. As services for the Dawn Service will be very busy, we strongly encourage all passengers to plan ahead and catch the train as early as possible to avoid missing the service.

Included travel for events

Some event organisers and venues include Transperth travel to and from the event in their ticket price. In some cases, event organisers may also arrange for us to provide additional bus or train services for people attending the event.

If you are going to an event, please check the travel options and plan your journey in advance to avoid inconvenience on the day. If your event is joint ticketed, you are entitled to travel on any Transperth service for three hours before, during and three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first.

Please note paid parking has been extended to include all parking bays at Transperth train stations. This means when you park at a Transperth train station it will cost you $2 a day, or for any part of, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. If your event is joint ticketed and you plan to park at a train station, you will need to use the Pay 'n' Display option to pay for parking. See Paid Parking for more information.
