Midland Line - service disruption
Effective: From 8.00pm on Monday 15 June until Thursday 25 June 2009
Transperth train services between Bassendean and Midland will be cancelled on the evenings of Monday 15 June until Thursday 25 June 2009 due to track upgrade works.
Train services will be disrupted as follows:
Monday 15 June to Friday 19 June and Monday 22 June to Thursday 25 June
The last full Midland Line services to depart on the above mentioned evenings will be:
- to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
- to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.
Saturday 20 June
The last full Midland Line services to depart on the above mentioned evening will be:
- to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
- to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.
Sunday 21 June
The last full Midland Line services to depart on the above mentioned evening will be:
- to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
- to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.
Train replacement bus service 905 will shuttle passengers between Bassendean and Midland at the train replacement stops near train stations while services are cancelled.
Normal Midland Line services will resume with the start of timetabled services each morning.
Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that train replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.
Midland Line passengers are advised that from Monday 15 June until the end of September 2009 there will be disruptions to the Midland Line while track upgrades take place. These disruptions will primarily take place in the evenings but passengers are advised to regularly check the Transperth website or call the InfoLine on 13 62 13 to see how their journey may be affected by the disruptions.
Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including train replacement services.
