Armadale and Thornlie Lines - service disruption
Effective: From 8.00pm on Saturday 25 July until first service on Monday 27 July 2009
Transperth train services between Cannington and Armadale and Cannington and Thornlie will be cancelled from 8.00pm on Saturday 25 July until first service on Monday 27 July 2009 due to a level crossing upgrade.
Normal timetabled services will operate between Perth and Cannington during this time
Train services will be disrupted as follows:
The last full Armadale Line services to depart will be:
- to Armadale departing Perth at 6.30pm
- to Perth departing Armadale at 7.16pm.
The last Thornlie Line service to depart will be:
- to Thornlie departing Perth at 6.52pm
- to Perth departing Thornlie at 7.35pm.
Rail replacement bus service 907 will pick up passengers between Cannington and Armadale at the rail replacement stops near train stations while services are cancelled. A shuttle will also operate between Cannington and Thornlie.
Normal Armadale and Thornlie Line services will resume with the start of timetabled services on Monday 27 July 2009.
Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that rail replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.
Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including rail replacement services.
