Midland Line - service disruption
Effective: From 8.00pm on Monday 27 July until Thursday 6 August 2009
Transperth train services between Midland and Perth will be cancelled on the evenings of Monday 27 July until Thursday 6 August 2009 due to track upgrade works.
Train services will be disrupted as follows:
Monday 27 July to Friday 31 July and Monday 3 August to Thursday 6 August
The last full Midland Line services to depart will be:
- to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
- to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.
Saturday 1 August
The last full Midland Line services to depart will be:
- to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
- to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.
Sunday 2 August
The last full Midland Line services to depart will be:
- to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
- to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.
Rail replacement bus service 905 will shuttle passengers between Midland and Perth at the rail replacement stops near train stations while services are cancelled.
Midland Line timetabled services will resume with the start of services each morning.
Passengers are advised that until the end of September 2009 there will be disruptions to Midland Line services while track upgrades take place. These disruptions will primarily take place in the evenings but passengers are advised to regularly check the Transperth website or call the InfoLine on 13 62 13 to see how their journey may be affected.
Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that rail replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.
Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including rail replacement services.
