Midland Line - service disruption
Effective: From 8.00pm on Monday 10 August until Thursday 20 August 2009
Transperth train services between Midland and Perth will be cancelled on the evenings of Monday 10 August until Thursday 20 August 2009 due to track upgrade works.
Train services will be disrupted as follows:
Monday 10 August to Friday 14 August and Monday 17 August to Thursday 20 August
The last full Midland Line services to depart will be:
- to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
- to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.
Saturday 15 August
The last full Midland Line services to depart will be:
- to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
- to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.
Sunday 16 August
The last full Midland Line services to depart on will be:
- to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
- to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.
Rail replacement bus service 905 will pick up passengers between Midland and Perth at rail replacement stops near train stations while services are cancelled.
Midland Line timetabled services will resume with the start of services each morning.
Passengers are advised that until the end of September 2009 there will be disruptions to Midland Line services while track upgrades take place. These disruptions will primarily occur in the evenings but passengers are advised to regularly check the Transperth website or call the InfoLine on 13 62 13 to see how their journey may be affected.
Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that rail replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.
Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including rail replacement services.
