Routes 30, 31, 34, 102, 160, 881, 940 and Blue CAT - service deviations

Effective: Sunday 25 October 2009

On Sunday 25 October 2009, the above mentioned routes will deviate to facilitate the ITU Perth Long Distance Triathlon World Championships.

The following roads will be closed until the below times:

  • Riverside Dr will be closed until 4.00pm 
  • Mounts Bay Rd will be closed until 2.00pm
  • Kwinana Freeway south bound lanes will be closed until 2.00pm.

Services will deviate as follows:

Route 30 

To Perth: Services will not be affected.

From Perth: Services will deviate and travel via the Causeway to Canning Hwy, right Way Rd, left Mill Point Rd, left Labouchere Rd to resume normal route.

Route 31 

To Perth: Services will not be affected.

From Perth: Services will deviate and travel via the Causeway to Canning Hwy, right Way Rd, left Mill Point Rd, left Labouchere Rd to resume normal route.

Route 34

To Perth: Services will not be affected.

From Perth: Services will deviate and travel via the Causeway to Canning Hwy, right Way Rd, left Mill Point Rd to resume normal route.

Route 102 

To Perth: Services will deviate Stirling Hwy, left Winthrop Ave/Thomas St, right Kings Park Rd/Malcolm St/St Georges Tce, right Mill St to the Esplanade Busport.

Passengers are advised that the following bus stops will not be in use during this period:

  • 10382 (Mounts Bay Rd after Stirling Hwy)
  • 10383 (Mounts Bay Rd after Hackett Dr)
  • 10384 (Mounts Bay Rd before Wingfield St)
  • 10385 (Old Swan Brewery)
  • 17505 (Mt Hospital Blue CAT)
  • 17506 (Mounts Bay Rd after Cliff St).

The nearest available bus stops during this period will be:

  • 10381 (University of Western Australia)
  • 12207 (Esplanade Busport).

From Perth: Services will depart from Esplanade Busport, deviate via Mill St, left St Georges Tce/Malcolm St/Kings Park Rd, left Thomas St/Winthrop Ave, right Stirling Hwy to resume normal route.

Passengers are advised that the following bus stops will not be in use during this period:

  • 10386 (Mounts Bay Rd after Riverside Dr)
  • 10387 (Mounts Bay Rd after Crawley Ave)
  • 10388 (Mounts Bay Rd before Winthrop Ave)
  • 17504 (Mount Hospital)
  • 23000 (Mounts Bay Rd before Wingfield St).

The nearest available bus stops during this period will be:

  • 10389 (University of Western Australia)
  • 12200 (Esplanade Busport).
Route 160

To Perth: Services will travel normal route to terminate at the Esplanade Busport.   

Passengers are advised that the following bus stops will not be in use during this period:

  • 10119 (St Georges Tce stand B)
  • 10124 (St Georges Tce stand BC)
  • 10130 (St Georges Tce stand B)
  • 10133 (St Georges Tce stand BEF)
  • 16901 (Terrace Rd/Bennett St).

From Perth: Services will commence at Esplanade Busport stand A5, deviate via The Causeway and Canning Hwy to resume normal route.

Passengers are advised that the following bus stops will not be in use during this period:

  • 10073 (Adelaide Tce after Bennett St)
  • 10074 (Adelaide Tce after Hill St)
  • 10075 (St Georges Tce stand M)
  • 10081 (St Georges Tce M)
  • 10087 (St Georges Tce M)
  • 16901 (Terrace Rd/Bennett St).

The nearest available bus stop during this period will be Esplanade Busport.

Route 881 

To Perth: Services will not be affected.

From Perth: Services will operate normal route from Wellington Street Bus Station to Esplanade Busport, deviate via The Causeway and Canning Hwy to resume normal route.

Route 940

To Perth: Services will not be affected.

From Perth: Services will operate normal from Wellington Street Bus Station to Esplanade Busport, deviate via The Causeway and Canning Hwy to resume normal route.

Blue CAT

From first service until 4.00pm, the Blue CAT will travel normal route along William St, deviate right St Georges Tce, left Spring Street, right Mounts Bay Rd,u-turn prior to the roundabout to resume normal route from Mounts Bay Hospital. 

Passengers are advised that the following bus stops will not be in use during this period:

  • Blue CAT stop 18 (Esplanade)
  • Blue CAT stop 19 (Barrack Square).

The nearest available bus stop during this period will be Blue CAT stop 20 (Mount Hospital).
