Routes 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 102, 106 and Blue CAT - service deviation

Effective: Sunday 22 November 2009, between first services and 12.00pm 

From first service until 12.00pm on Sunday 22 November 2009, the above mentioned routes will deviate due to road closures to facilitate the Great Bike Ride.

The following roads will be closed to traffic during this event:

  • Riverside Dr from the Causeway all the way around to Mounts Bay Rd as far as Hackett Dr near University of Western Australia
  • Mounts Bay Rd closed heading west only
  • Judd St overpass onto the Kwinana Fwy north
  • Several other intermittent lane closures in the metro area.

Services will deviate as follows:

Routes 30 and 31

To Perth: Services will travel normal route to Labouchere Rd, deviate right Mill Point Rd, right Way Rd, left Canning Hwy, via Causeway along AdelaideTce/St Georges Tce, left William St to resume normal route to Wellington St Bus St.

No bus stops will be affected during this period. However, passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that route 30 and 31 services may not connect with other Transperth services.

From Perth: Services will not be affected.

Routes 32

To Perth: Services will travel normal route, however, bus stop 10342 (Canning Hwy after Gwenyfred Rd) will not be in use during this period.

The nearest available bus stop will be bus stop 11835 (Mill Point Rd after Hovia Tce).

From Perth: Services will not be affected.

Route 33

To Perth: Services will travel normal route, however, bus stop 10342 (Canning Hwy after Gwenyfred Rd) will not be in use during this period.

The nearest available bus stop will be bus stop 11795 (Second Ave before Berwick St). 

From Perth: Services will not be affected.

Route 34

To Perth: Services will travel normal route, deviate by not turning right onto Judd St, continue along Mill Point Rd, right Way Rd, left Canning Hwy, via Causeway along AdelaideTce/St Georges Tce, left William St to resume normal route to Wellington St Bus Station.

No bus stops will be affected during this period. However, passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that route 34 services may not connect with other timetabled Transperth services.

From Perth: Services will not be affected.  

Route 102

To Perth: Services will not be affected.

From Perth: Services will depart from Esplanade Busport, deviate right Mill St, left St Georges Tce/Malcolm St/Kings Park Rd, left Thomas Rd/Winthrop Ave, right, Stirling Hwy to resume normal route.

Passengers are advised that the following bus stops will not be in use during this period:

  • 10386 (Mounts Bay Rd after Riverside Dr)
  • 10387 (Mounts Bay Rd after Crawley Ave) 
  • 10388 (Mounts Bay Rd after Winthrop Ave) 
  • 23000 (Mounts Bay Rd after Wingfield Rd).

The nearest available bus stops will be:

  • 10389 (Stirling Hwy/UWA)
  • Esplanade Busport.
Route 106

To Perth: Services will travel normal route, however, bus stop 10342 (Canning Hwy after Gwenyfred Rd) will not be in use during this period.

The nearest available bus stop will be bus stop 10341 (Canning Hwy before Way Rd).

From Perth: Services will not be affected.

Blue CAT

The Blue CAT will travel normal route to Esplanade Station, deviate into Esplanade Busport, travel along Mounts Bay Rd, u-turn to pick up from Blue CAT stops on Mounts Bay Rd to resume normal route. 

Passengers are advised that Blue CAT stop 19 (Barrack Square) will not be in use during this period.

The nearest available Blue CAT stop will be Blue CAT stop 18 (Esplanade Station).
