Midland Line service disruptions

Effective: 30 April - 1 May 2007

Transperth train services between Claisebrook and Perth will be disrupted in the evenings on Monday 30 April and Tuesday 1 May 2007 due to track works at Perth.

The last Midland Line trains to and from Perth on the evenings of Monday 30 April and Tuesday 1 May will be:

• To Midland departing Perth at 8.00pm
• To Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.

Midland Line services will resume normal timetabled services with the start of services each following morning.

During the disruption, Midland Line train services will stop at all stations between Midland and Claisebrook and will arrive and depart at Claisebrook Station. New temporary timetables will apply.

The temporary Midland Line timetable will be as follows:

From Claisebrook to Midland

Passengers are advised that the temporary Midland Line timetabled services may not connect with bus services at stations along the Midland Line and are encouraged to make alternative travel arrangements during this period.

Train replacement bus service 999 will shuttle passengers between the Claisebrook, McIver and Perth Train Stations while services are cancelled. Pick up is at the train replacement stops near stations. Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that train replacement buses may not connect with other normal bus and train services.

Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses.
