UPDATE: Joondalup Line service disruption

Effective: 18 July 2007

Transperth train services have resumed on the Joondalup line after being disrupted because of a traffic accident on the Mitchell Freeway.

Temporary speed restrictions will apply in the immediate area of the accident until it is completely cleared.

Through-services stopped soon after noon after a traffic accident in the southbound lanes south of Greenwood Station resulted in debris blocking the rail tracks.

During the disruption, Transperth ran trains between Perth and Stirling, and between Clarkson and Whitfords, and organised replacement buses to shuttle passengers between Whitfords and Stirling.

Transperth apologises for any inconvenience.

For further information regarding this service disruption, call the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 (TTY: 9428 1999, TIS: 13 14 50) or use the Transperth JourneyPlanner to plan your journey.
