Armadale and Thornlie Line - service disruption

Effective: Tuesday 27 January - Friday 6 February 2009

Transperth train services between Armadale and Cannington and Thornlie and Perth will be cancelled on the evening Tuesday 27 January due to infrastructure works. Additionally, there will be no Transperth train services on the Armadale and Thornlie Lines on the evenings of Wednesday 28 January to Friday 30 January and Monday 2 February to Friday 6 February 2009.

Services will be disrupted as follows:

Tuesday 27 January

The last full Armadale Line service on Tuesday 27 January will be:

• to Armadale departing Perth at 6.47pm
• to Perth departing Armadale at 7.26pm.

The last full Thornlie Line service on Tuesday 27 January will be:

• to Thornlie departing Perth at 7.05pm
• to Perth departing Thornlie at 7.34pm.

After these full line services, trains on the Armadale Line will operate between Perth and Cannington according to an Armadale Line timetable with services stopping all stations. Train replacement bus service 907 will pick up passengers between Armadale and Cannington at the train replacement stops near train stations while services are cancelled. A shuttle will also operate between Cannington and Thornlie.

Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 January and Monday 2 to Friday 6 February

The last Armadale Line trains on the above mentioned evenings will be:

• to Armadale departing Perth at 6.47pm
• to Perth departing Armadale at 7.26pm.

The last Thornlie Line trains on the above mentioned evenings will be:

• to Thornlie departing Perth at 7.05pm
• to Perth departing Thornlie at 7.34pm.

Saturday 31 January

The last Armadale Line trains on Saturday 31 January will be:

• to Armadale departing Perth at 6.30pm
• to Perth departing Armadale at 7.16pm.

The last Thornlie Line trains Saturday 31 January will be:

• to Thornlie departing Perth at 6.52pm
• to Perth departing Thornlie at 7.35pm.

Train replacement bus service 907 will pick up passengers between Armadale and Perth at the train replacement stops near train stations while services are cancelled. A shuttle will also operate between Cannington and Thornlie.

Armadale and Thornlie line services will resume with the start of timetabled services each morning.

Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that train replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.

Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on train replacement buses.
