Planned upgrades to the Transperth train network.
So we can maintain our high standards of safety and reliability, it is necessary to maintain and upgrade the system on an ongoing basis.
We understand that no-one likes to be disrupted and we try to keep this to a minimum. So the majority of work takes place outside of peak times, such as overnight or on weekends, when less people are travelling.
When work requires the full or partial closure of a train line, then adequate replacement bus services are provided.
There are a number of ways that you can keep up to date with changes to the network.
View the Planned Upgrades Calendar below for work planned in the coming months. Please remember that whilst we try to ensure the information is as accurate as possible, it is subject to change. Please visit us regularly to ensure that there have been no changes to the program.

Look out for changes to the system at your local station. If there is an imminent change or disruption to the system, simply check posters at your station for more information.
If your journey is more immediate, check the latest Live Train Times to see how the system is currently running.
