Workshops

Transperth is committed to making public transport accessible for all. Our workshops will help you prepare for travel and make the most of Perth’s public transport system.

Our education team can visit your community group or workplace with a workshop tailored to audience needs. For example, English as an Additional Language (EAL) groups, staff training, seniors and people with disabilities.

The session looks at everything you need to know to plan a journey and then take that journey on Transperth feeling safe and confident. Topics that can be included in the session include:

  • Planning a journey (including mobile tools)
  • Accessible transport
  • Ticketing
  • Transperth staff
  • Safety & Security
  • Current and future projects

The workshops can be as hands on as the group likes. For example participants can actively work through journey planning on their own device or this can be delivered as a whole group working together. Role play can also be incorporated into the session to look at commonly encountered situations on the network.

Numbers: 20 people per workshop (can be negotiated)
Time: Approx. 60 min including Q&A (+20 min set up time)
Cost: Free
