City to Surf

Your registration for City to Surf includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and three hours after the event. Simply wear your event bib.

Participants and spectators are strongly encouraged to use the event shuttle buses. 

To event

A Shuttle bus service will operate from Perth Busport to McLean Park, Floreat from 6.50am for 4km participants.

Shuttle bus services will also travel to City Beach Oval from 7.00am, departing every 15 minutes from Perth Busport for those wishing to travel to the finish line.

From event

From approximately 8.30am, shuttle buses will operate for participants and spectators to travel from the finish line back to McLean Park, Floreat and Perth Busport. 

Passengers are reminded that all prams must be folded before boarding the shuttle bus.

Please note there will be disruptions to Transperth bus services due to road closures for the event. See Service Disruptions for more information.

Included travel for events

Some event organisers and venues include Transperth travel to and from the event in their ticket price. In some cases, event organisers may also arrange for us to provide additional bus or train services for people attending the event.

If you are going to an event, please check the travel options and plan your journey in advance to avoid inconvenience on the day. If your event is joint ticketed, you are entitled to travel on any Transperth service for three hours before, during and three hours after the event, or until end of service, whichever occurs first.

Please note paid parking has been extended to include all parking bays at Transperth train stations. This means when you park at a Transperth train station it will cost you $2 a day, or for any part of, between 5am and 9pm on weekdays. If your event is joint ticketed and you plan to park at a train station, you will need to use the Pay 'n' Display option to pay for parking. See Paid Parking for more information.
