Midland Line - service disruption

Effective: From 8.00pm on Monday 18 May until Thursday 28 May 2009 

Transperth train services between Bassendean and Midland will be cancelled on the evenings of Monday 18 May until Thursday 28 May 2009 due to track upgrade works.

Train services will be disrupted as follows:

Monday 18 May to Friday 22 May and Monday 25 May to Thursday 28 May 

The last full Midland Line services to depart on the above mentioned evenings will be:

  • to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm
  • to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.

Saturday 23 May  

The last full Midland Line services to depart on the above mentioned evening will be:

  • to Midland departing Perth at 9.30pm
  • to Perth departing Midland at 10.00pm.

Sunday 24 May

The last full Midland Line services to depart on the above mentioned evening will be:

  •  to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm 
  •  to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.

Train replacement bus service 905 will shuttle passengers between Bassendean and Midland at the train replacement stops near train stations while services are cancelled.

Normal Midland Line services will resume with the start of timetabled services each morning.

Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that train replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.

Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including train replacement services.
