UPDATE: Midland Line - service disruption

Effective: From 8.00pm Monday 14 September until Thursday 24 September 2009 

Transperth wishes to update passengers on the track upgrade works on the Midland Line. Train services between Midland and Perth will now be cancelled on the evenings specified below between Monday 14 September and Thursday 24 September 2009. 

Train services will be disrupted as follows:    

Monday 14 to Thursday 17 September and Monday 21 until Thursday 24 September 

The last Midland Line services will be:

  • to Midland departing Perth at 7.00pm 
  • to Perth departing Midland at 7.30pm.

Friday 18 until Sunday 20 September

Normal Midland Line services will operate.

Midland Line services will operate according to a normal Sunday timetable.

Rail replacement bus service 905 will pick up passengers between Midland and Perth at rail replacement stops near train stations while services are cancelled.

Midland Line timetabled services will resume with the start of services each morning.

Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that rail replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.

Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including rail replacement services.
