New Year's Eve service deviations

Routes affected: 16, 21, 43, 48, 55, 60, 67 & Blue CAT

Effective: Wednesday 31 December 2008 

On Wednesday 31 December 2008, routes 16, 21, 43, 48, 55, 60, 67 & Blue CAT will deviate in Northbridge due to road closures.

The following roads will be closed in Northbridge:

• William St between Newcastle St and Aberdeen St from 6.00pm
• William St between Francis St and Roe St from 6.00pm
• James St between Parker St and Lake St from 2.00pm
• James St between Lake St and William St from 6.00pm
• Lake St between Francis St and James St from 6.00pm.

Services will deviate as follows:

Bus services travelling south on William St:

From 6.00pm all services will travel normal route to the corner of William St and Newcastle St, deviate via Newcastle St, Fitzgerald St and the busway to the Wellington St Bus Station, exit via Wellington St, right William St to resume normal route.

Bus services travelling west along Newcastle St requiring William St:

From 6.00pm all services will operate normal route to the corner of Newcastle St and William St, continue along Newcastle St, Fitzgerald St and the busway to Wellington Street, right William Street to resume normal route.

Passengers are advised that bus stops will be affected in the following manner:

William St bus stops

• 10218 (William St after Graham Farmer Fwy)
• 10219 (William St before James St).

The nearest bus stops during this time will be:

• 10217 (William St after Monger St)
• 12817 (Fitzgerald St before Aberdeen St)
• 12818 (Fitzgerald St after John St).

Newcastle St services

Passengers are advised that bus stop 12886 (Newcastle St before Lindsay St) is the last stop on route until bus stop10225 (William St W2).

Blue CAT

From 2.00pm Blue CAT services will travel normal route to the corner of James St and Milligan St, deviate right Milligan St, left Roe St, right William St Horseshoe Bridge to resume normal route.

Passengers are advised that the following Blue CAT stops will not be in operation during this period:

• 13 (Northbridge)
• 14 (James St)
• 15 (Alexander Library).

The nearest Blue CAT stops during this period will be:

• 12 (Russell Square)
• 16 (William St Horseshoe Bridge).
