To get where you want to go without the fuss it's important to know of any service disruptions.

Fremantle and Airport Lines Nightly Closures

Sun 27 Apr - Thu 01 May

The Fremantle and Airport lines will be disrupted nightly from Sunday 27 April until Thursday 1 May to facilitate maintenance works. The Fremantle Line will also be disrupted between Claremont and Fremantle on the afternoon of Sunday 27 April.

Services will be disrupted as follows:

  • Fremantle Line: Full line closure
  • Airport Line: Perth to Claremont closure.

The last full line services on Sunday afternoon/evening will depart:

  • Perth (to Fremantle): 3.17pm
  • Perth (to Claremont): 9.02pm
  • Fremantle (to Perth): 3.54pm
  • Claremont (to High Wycombe): 9.23pm.

The last full line services each weeknight will depart:

  • Perth (to Fremantle): 8.47pm
  • Perth (to Claremont): 9.02pm
  • Fremantle (to Perth): 9.09pm
  • Claremont (to High Wycombe): 9.14pm.

Full train services will resume from the start of timetabled services each morning.

Train Replacement Buses

Train replacement bus Route 906 will run between Perth and Fremantle while trains are cancelled.

Route 906 will operate from Zone A at Perth Busport.

Trains will continue to run between McIver and High Wycombe on the Airport Line due to nightly closures on the Airport, Ellenbrook and Midland lines between Perth and McIver. 

Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.

Remember to plan your journey; the train replacement bus timetable will be available via the Transperth app and JourneyPlanner.

You can also use the Transperth app to track your replacement bus in real time.

Bikes and eRideables on board buses

Due to space restrictions, bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including train replacement services. There are also restrictions on carrying eRideables and scooters on board.
