*Proof of concession is not required for children 14 years and younger. Children 15 years and older are required to carry a concession SmartRider when travelling using concession fares.

Companion Cards

Companion Cards entitle the companion or support person accompanying the holder of the card to free travel on all Transperth services, noting that the person with the disability must have a valid ticket.

Unrestricted travel

*Transperth may issue an unrestricted ticket, at its discretion, to a person who does not work in a supported employment setting but receives a disability support pension, and who has a physical or intellectual impairment such that they cannot understand the fare structure, handle cash or use the SmartRider ticketing system. Application can be made by a Transperth approved organisation on behalf of the person concerned for the issue of an Unrestricted Half-Yearly Ticket. An original signed medical certificate confirming the person’s disability and incapacity to use normal ticketing must support applications.
