Bayswater Station is closed until September 2023 to complete platform and station works as part of the New Bayswater Station Project. The new station will improve connectivity with the Midland Line, Airport Line and Morley-Ellenbrook Line providing a new level of public transport service to Perth’s north-eastern suburbs.
During the station closure, Route 44 will operate from the train replacement stop on King William Street to Meltham Station. This service will operate approximately every 12 minutes during peak periods, and every 15 minutes at all other times. Please note this accessible service is operated by Horizon West.
A free SmartRider travel pass is available to eligible Bayswater passengers. This pass provides eligible passengers with free travel and parking on the Transperth network for three months, until 30 June. For more information and to see if you're eligible, visit the Bayswater Free Travel page.
As a result of the closure, there will be a number of disruptions to services in the area, more information is available here.
