Transperth fines are increasing

Effective: Sunday 26 July 2009

From Sunday 26 July 2009, fines for unacceptable behaviour when using Transperth will double to a minimum of $100.

Such behaviours include, but are not restricted to, travelling without a valid ticket, smoking, playing loud music, eating and drinking, possessing prohibited items and taking your bike on a train travelling in the peak flow direction.

Here is a list of the most common Transperth fines issued with their new penalty rates.
