Event & ticket information

The West Coast Blues and Roots Festival will be held at The Esplanade in Fremantle on Saturday 18 April from 10.30am until 11.00pm.

All Transperth tickets (including concessions) are valid on Transperth services. Just choose the ticket that is right for you.

Use your SmartRider for great value discounted fares. DayRider tickets allow travel on Transperth services all day on weekends for just $8.40 for standard or $3.30 for concession passengers. Or consider a FamilyRider ticket, which allows up to seven people (two of whom can be standard fare passengers, five of whom can be concession) all day travel on Transperth services for $8.40 on weekends.

The following Transperth services will operate on the day:

Trains 

Timetabled train services will operate on all lines according to a normal Saturday timetable.

To festival

Fremantle Line services stop at Fremantle Station according to a normal Saturday timetable.

From festival

Transperth will provide additional train services from Fremantle Station following the festival. Train services operating directly after the festival are as follows:

  • 11.01pm - timetabled service (L pattern)*
  • 11.11pm – concert special service
  • 11.21pm – concert special service
  • 11.31pm - timetabled service (L pattern)*
  • 11.41pm – concert special service
  • 12.01am - timetabled service (L pattern)*
  • 12.31am - timetabled service (K pattern)**.

* L pattern does not stop at Grant and Loch St stations
** K pattern does not stop at Swanbourne and Karrakatta stations

If transferring to other train lines at Perth, passengers will need to plan their journey and ensure they allow for connection times.

Buses 

Timetabled bus services will operate across the Transperth network. There will be no additional bus services operating on the day, and no additional bus services at suburban stations for connections with the extra train services being provided.
