Event & ticket information

Your ticket to the rugby includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and three hours after the game*. Simply show your ticket to the driver or inspector.

*Patrons collecting tickets at Subiaco Oval are entitled to travel from the game only. Post-event travel is subject to last timetabled services.

Trains

To rugby

Catch the train to West Leederville Station. Train services on all lines will be operating a normal weekday timetable with shuttle services to West Leederville Station from 6.02pm.

From Perth Station: Rugby specials from platform 7 will depart on a regular basis between 6.02pm and 6.53pm.

Special notice to rugby passengers: Rugby passengers are asked to only catch rugby specials from platform 7 and not timetabled Fremantle Line services departing from platform 8. 

Special notice to Fremantle Line passengers: Between 5.55pm and 6.45pm, all Fremantle Line services will depart from platform 8 at Perth Station.

Mandurah Line passengers can transfer from Perth Underground Station to Platform 7 at Perth Station and catch a shuttle service to West Leederville Station.

Joondalup Line passengers can avoid transferring at Perth Station by alighting at Leederville Station, which is a 10-15 minute walk from Subiaco Oval.

From rugby

Passengers are asked to use West Leederville Station and not Subiaco Station for rugby special services.  Normal timetabled services will operate on the Fremantle Line, with shuttle services from West Leederville Station from 8.50pm.

Mandurah Line rugby specials (Departing West Leederville Station western platform). Rugby special services depart at 8.54pm and 9.05pm. Mandurah Line rugby special services travel express to Canning Bridge Station then all stops to Mandurah Station. Following these special services, passengers will need to catch regular timetabled services from West Leederville Station (platform 1) and transfer at Perth Station.

Perth shuttles for Armadale/Thornlie, Joondalup and Midland lines (Departing West Leederville Station). These shuttles travel all stops to Perth Station with transfers as follows:

Joondalup Line: Perth Underground Station (enter from the underpass at Perth Station – west end of platform 2)

• 9.15pm (Platform 1): Joondalup timetabled service, all stops to Clarkson, 3 car set
• 9.20pm (Platform 1): Rugby special service, all stops to Clarkson, 6 car set
• 9.45pm (Platform 1): Joondalup timetabled service, all stops to Clarkson, 3 car set.

Armadale Line: Platform 5, Perth Station 

• 9.17pm (Platform 5): Rugby special service, stopping all stations, 4 car set
• 9.32pm (Platform 5): Armadale timetabled service, stopping all stations, 2 car set
• 10.02pm (Platform 5): Armadale timetabled service, C pattern, 2 car set.

Thornlie Line: Platform 4, Perth Station

• 9.21pm (Platform 4): Thornlie timetabled service, stopping all stations, 2 car set
• 9.51pm (Platform 4): Thornlie timetabled service, stopping all stations, 2 set.

Midland Line: Platform 9, Perth Station

• 9.00pm (Platform 9): Midland Timetabled service, stopping all stations, 4 car set
• 9.14pm (Platform 9): Rugby special service, stopping all stations, 4 car set
• 9.30pm (Platform 9): Midland Timetabled service, stopping all stations, 2 car set.

Fremantle Line: Passengers are asked to use West Leederville Station and not Subiaco Station. Normal timetabled services will operate on the Fremantle Line, with extra capacity and shuttle services from West Leederville Station from 8.50pm. Trains will bypass Loch and Grant St Station between 8.00pm and 10.00pm. Maxi Taxi services will pick up and set down passengers at train replacement bus stops during this period.

Buses

To rugby

The following rugby special bus services will operate to the game:

• From Karrinyup Shopping Centre (stand 5): Route 616 departing at 5.50pm and 6.05pm.
• From Curtin University Bus Station (stand 7): Route 615 departing at 6.05pm.
• From Morley Bus Station (stand B2): Route 611 departing at 5.50pm and 6.05pm.

From rugby

After the match, rugby special buses will depart from the following locations:

• To Karrinyup: Salvado Rd, near St Josephs Church.
• To Curtin: Roberts Rd, in the carpark adjacent to Kitchener Park
• To Morley: Roberts Rd, near Kitchener Park.

Last buses leave 20 minutes after the completion of the match.
