2009 Rebel Sport City to Surf for Activ

This year participants in the City to Surf can travel to and from the event for free.  Simply wear your race bib to gain access to the free travel entitlement.  

Transperth will provide the following services to the City to Surf starting point in Perth.

Trains

The following train services will operate to the event.  To plan your journey from your nearest station click here for the Transperth JourneyPlanner.

Armadale Line: Departs Armadale Station at the following times and travels all stops to Perth Station:

• 7.01am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 7.40am
• 7.16am: Armadale timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 7.55am
• 7.31am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 8.10am
• 7.46am: Armadale timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 8.25am
• 8.01am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 8.40am
• 8.16am: Armadale timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 8.55am
• 8.31am: Armadale timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 9.10am.

Fremantle Line: Departs Fremantle Station at the following times:

• 7.00am: City to Surf special service travels all stops to arrive at Perth Station at 7.28am
• 7.15am: City to Surf special service travels all stops to arrive at Perth Station at 7.43am
• 7.30am: Fremantle timetabled service, L Pattern* to arrive at Perth Station at 7.57am
• 7.45am: City to Surf special service travels all stops to arrive at Perth Station at 8.13am
• 8.00am: Fremantle timetabled service, L Pattern* to arrive at Perth Station at 8.27am
• 8.15am: City to Surf special service travels all stops to arrive at Perth Station at 8.43am
• 8.30am: Fremantle timetabled service, L Pattern* to arrive at Perth Station at 8.57am
• 8.45am: City to Surf special service travels all stops to arrive at Perth Station at 9.13am.

*L Pattern - Trains will not stop at Grant Street and Loch Street stations.


Joondalup Line: Departs Clarkson Station at the following times and travels all stops to Perth Underground Station:

• 6.48am: Joondalup timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 7.20am
• 7.01am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 7.33am
• 7.14am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 7.46am
• 7.27am: Joondalup timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 7.59am
• 7.42am: Joondalup timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 8.14am
• 7.57am: Joondalup timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 8.29am
• 8.12am: Joondalup timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 8.44am
• 8.27am: Joondalup timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 8.59am
• 8.42am: Joondalup timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 9.14am.

 Mandurah Line: Departs Mandurah Station at the following times and travels all stops to Perth Underground Station:

• 6.19am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 7.09am
• 6.37am: Mandurah timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 7.27am
• 6.52am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 7.42am
• 7.07am: Mandurah timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 7.57am
• 7.22am: Mandurah timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 8.12am
• 7.37am: Mandurah timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 8.27am
• 7.52am: Mandurah timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 8.42am
• 8.07am: Mandurah timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Underground at 8.57am

Midland Line: Departs Midland Station at the following times and travels all stops to Perth Station:

• 7.15am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 7.40am
• 7.30am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 7.55am
• 7.45am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 8.10am
• 8.00am: Midland timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 8.26am
• 8.15am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 8.40am
• 8.30am: Midland timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 8.56am
• 8.45am: City to Surf special service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 9.10am.

Thornlie Line: Departs Thornlie Station at the following times and travels all stops to Perth Station:

• 7.05am: Thornlie timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 7.28am
• 7.35am: Thornlie timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 7.58am
• 8.05am: Thornlie timetabled service scheduled to arrive at Perth Station at 8.28am.

Timetabled train services will operate after the event.
 

Buses

Before the event

Timetabled bus services will operate across the Transperth network.  Note that significant service disruptions for routes 21, 24, 27, 28, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 36, 37, 39, 43, 48, 55, 60, 67, 72, 75, 85, 97, 98, 99, 102, 103, 106, 160, 170, 177, 212, 283, 288, 296, 299, 881 and 940 will be in place during the event.

After the event

Timetabled bus and train services will operate across the Transperth network.  In addition, Transperth will provide special shuttle services for participants to travel from the finish line back to Perth or Perry Lakes.  Click here to view the map of where buses will be departing from.
