Travel to AFL games with Transperth
Your ticket to the football includes public transport, so why not get the most from your football experience and use Transperth to get you to Subiaco Oval.
Transport is included for all Transperth services (including football special services) for three hours before, during and three hours after each AFL season game. Simply present your Fremantle Football Club membership card, West Coast Eagles membership card or match ticket to the driver or inspector.
TRAINS
Frequent train services operate prior to and after the games, including additional football special services.
Patrons can catch the train to West Leederville Station, which is just 350m from Subiaco Oval, or Subiaco Train Station, which is 500m. Joondalup Line passengers can also avoid transferring at Perth Train Station by alighting at Leederville Station, which is a 10-15min walk from Subiaco Oval.
Many of Perth’s major train stations also have connecting bus services or Park ‘n’ Ride facilities to help you get on board.
BUSES
In addition to timetabled bus services the following football special buses operate for every AFL season game:
From Mandurah Bus Station (Stand A2): Bus number 614. Departing 2 ½ hrs before bounce down.
From Rockingham Bus Station (Stand 7): Bus number 613. Departing 2 hrs before bounce down.
From Kwinana Bus Station (Stand 7): Bus number 613. Departing 1 ¾ hrs before bounce down.
From Cockburn Central Station (Stand 1): Bus number 612. Departing every 15 minutes, commencing 2 ¼ hrs before bounce down with the last bus departing 45 min before bounce down.
From Murdoch Park ‘n’ Ride (Stand 1): Bus number 612. Departing every 15 minutes, commencing 2 hrs before bounce down with the last bus departing 30 mins before bounce down.
From Curtin University Bus Station (Stand 7): Bus number 615. Departing 1 ½ hrs before bounce down and 1 hour before bounce down.
From Karrinyup Shopping Centre (Stand 5): Bus number 616. Departing 1 ½ hrs before bounce down and 1 hour before bounce down.
From Morley Bus Station (Stand B2): Bus number 611. Departing 1 ½ hrs before bounce down and 1 hour before bounce down.
After each match, buses will depart from the following locations:
Mandurah: Bus number 614
Roberts Rd outside Gate 15
Kwinana and Rockingham: Bus number 613
Roberts Rd near Kitchener Park
Cockburn and Murdoch: Bus number 612
Roberts Rd near Kitchener Park
Curtin: Bus number 615
Roberts Rd outside Gate 13
Karrinyup: Bus number 616
Hayden Bunton Dr near Market Square
Morley: Bus number 611
Hayden Bunton Dr near Market Square
Last buses leave 30 minutes after the completion of the match.
