Surveys and Statistics about the performance of our buses and trains.

We monitor how the performance of our buses and trains compared with timetables. Our on-time running benchmarks are in line with Australian and international best practice. 

We also conduct annual passenger surveys.

Bus on-time running statistics

How do we measure? From July 2022, we measure the timeliness of all bus departures from all timing points, where no bus may depart early or more than four minutes late from a starting timing point or more than 6 minutes late from a mid-point timing point. Previously, this statistic was prepared using a sample of all bus trips operated, where no bus may depart early or more than four minutes late from any timing point

Train on-time running statistics

How do we measure? Trains services must not run any later than four minutes from their timetabled arrival time at their end destination.
