Event & ticket information
Your ticket to the football includes travel on all Transperth services for three hours before, during and three hours after the game*. Simply show your membership card or ticket to the driver or inspector.
*Patrons collecting tickets at Subiaco Oval are entitled to travel from the game only. Post-event travel is subject to last timetabled services.
The following additional Transperth services will operate on the day:
Trains
To game
Catch the train to West Leederville Station. Train services will operate on all lines to a Sunday timetable, with extra capacity and shuttle services to West Leederville Station from 11.37am.
From Perth Station: Football specials from platform 7 will depart on a regular basis between 11.37am and 2.37pm.
Special notice to football passengers: Football passengers are asked to only catch football specials from platform 7 and not timetabled Fremantle Line services departing from platform 8.
Special notice to Fremantle Line passengers: Between 11.30am and 2.30pm all Fremantle Line trains will depart from platform 8.
Mandurah Line passengers can avoid transferring at Perth Station by catching one of the following football special services:
- Departing Cockburn Station every 15 minutes between 11.16am and 2.16pm. These football special services travel all stops to Canning Bridge Station then express to West Leederville Station.
- Departing Mandurah Station at 12.45pm. This football special service travels all stops to Canning Bridge Station then express to West Leederville Station.
Joondalup Line passengers can also avoid transferring at Perth Station by alighting at Leederville Station, which is a 10-15 minute walk from Subiaco Oval.
From game
Passengers are asked to use West Leederville Station and not Subiaco Station for football services. Normal timetabled services will operate on the Fremantle Line, with extra capacity and shuttle services from West Leederville Station from 5.23pm.
Mandurah Line football specials (departing West Leederville Station western platform) depart between 5.24pm and 5.44pm. Mandurah Station football special services travel express to Canning Bridge Station then all stops to Mandurah Station. Following the Mandurah Line football special services, passengers will need to catch Perth shuttles from West Leederville Station (platform 1) and transfer at Perth Station.
Perth shuttles for Armadale/Thornlie, Joondalup and Midland lines (departing West Leederville Station) travel all stops to Perth Station with transfers as follows:
Joondalup Line: Perth Underground Station (enter from the underpass at Perth Station – west end of platform 2)
- 5.44pm (Platform 1): Joondalup timetabled service, 6-car set
- 5.50pm (Platform 1): Football special service, 4-car set
- 5.55pm (Platform 1): Joondalup timetabled service, 4-car set
- 5.59pm (Platform 1): Football special service, 6-car set
- 6.14pm (Platform 1): Joondalup timetabled service, 3-car set.
Armadale Line: Platform 5, Perth Station
- 5.45pm (Platform 5): Armadale timetabled service, stopping all stations, 4-car set
- 6.00pm (Platform 5): Armadale timetabled service, stopping all stations, 4-car set
- 6.15pm (Platform 5): Armadale timetabled service, stopping all stations, 2-car set.
Thornlie Line: Platform 4, Perth Station
- 5.37pm (Platform 4): Thornlie timetabled service, 2-car set
- 6.07pm (Platform 4): Thornlie timetabled service, 2-car set.
Midland Line: Platform 9, Perth Station
- 5.39pm (Platform 9): Football special service, stopping all stations, 4-car set
- 5.45pm (Platform 9): Midland timetabled service, stopping all stations, 4-car set
- 5.52pm (Platform 9): Football special service, stopping all stations, 4-car set
- 6.00pm (Platform 9): Midland timetabled service, stopping all stations 4-car set.
Fremantle Line: Passengers are asked to use West Leederville Station and not Subiaco Station. Normal timetabled services will operate on the Fremantle Line, with extra capacity and shuttle services from West Leederville Station from 5.23pm. Trains will bypass Loch and Grant St Stations between 11.15am and 7.45pm. Maxi Taxi services will pick up and set down passengers at train replacement bus stops during this period.
Buses
To game
The following football special buses will operate to the game:
- From Karrinyup Shopping Centre (stand 5): Route 616 departing at 1.10pm, 1.25pm and 1.40pm
- From Curtin University Bus Station (stand 7): Route 615 departing at 1.10pm, 1.25pm and 1.40pm
- From Morley Bus Station (stand B2): Route 611 departing at 1.10pm, 1.25pm and 1.40pm.
From game
After the match, football special buses will depart from the following locations:
- To Karrinyup: Salvado Rd, near St Josephs Church
- To Curtin: Roberts Rd, in the carpark, adjacent to Kitchener Park
- To Morley: Roberts Rd, near Kitchener Park.
Last buses leave 20 minutes after the completion of the match.
