Special types of tickets and fares

Cheaper ways to travel around Perth.

Student fare

All WA school kids are eligible for the student fare. For information about the student fare, see Student SmartRider.

Two-section fare

This is our name for a trip of 3.2 kilometers or less. It gives you a one-way ride on a single bus, train or ferry service.

If you choose to continue your journey you will need to purchase another ticket, if you are using your SmartRider it will automatically calculate the appropriate zone fare.

For more information, go to Fare Examples.
