Service Updates

To get where you want to go without the fuss it's important to know of any service disruptions.

Airport, Armadale, Ellenbrook, Midland and Thornlie-Cockburn Lines Nightly Closures

Sun 07 Sep - Wed 10 Sep

The Airport, Armadale, Ellenbrook, Midland and Thornlie-Cockburn lines will be disrupted nightly from Sunday 7 until Wednesday 10 September to facilitate works on the Radio Systems Replacement Project.

Services will be cancelled from Perth to McIver.

The last full line services on Sunday night will depart:

  • Perth to High Wycombe: 10.30pm
  • High Wycombe to Perth: 10.03pm
  • Perth to Ellenbrook: 10.50pm
  • Ellenbrook to Perth: 10.04pm
  • Perth to Cannington: 10.41pm
  • Cannington to Perth: 10.12pm
  • Perth to Cockburn Central: 10.56pm
  • Cockburn Central to Perth: 10.10pm.

Midland Line services will be disrupted between Perth and Midland from first service to last service on Sunday 7 September. More information on the Midland Line Day Closure can be found here. The last part line Midland Line services on Sunday night will depart as follows:

  • Perth to Bayswater: 10.40pm
  • Bayswater to Perth: 10.32pm.

Full train services will resume from the start of timetabled services each morning.

The last full line services on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night will depart:

  • Perth to High Wycombe: 10.30pm
  • High Wycombe to Perth: 10.03pm
  • Perth to Ellenbrook: 10.50pm
  • Ellenbrook to Perth: 10.04pm
  • Perth to Midland: 10.40pm
  • Midland to Perth: 10.19pm
  • Perth to Cannington: 10.41pm
  • Cannington to Perth: 10.12pm
  • Perth to Cockburn Central: 10.56pm
  • Cockburn Central to Perth: 10.10pm.

Full train services will resume from the start of timetabled services each morning.

Train Replacement Buses

Train replacement bus Route 908 will run between Perth and Claisebrook stations while trains are cancelled.

Route 908 will depart from Zone A at Perth Busport.

Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.

Remember to plan your journey; the train replacement bus timetable will be available via the Transperth app and Journey Planner.

You can also use the Transperth app to track your replacement bus in real time.

Bikes and eRideables on board buses

Due to space restrictions, bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including train replacement services. There are also restrictions on carrying eRideables and scooters on board.
